1. If your monitor isn't correctly calibrated, the displayed images may appear to look wrong - too dark, too light, too red, etc. Or if your monitor is not able to display the full range of colors possible, the images may appear grainy, with banded colors. But don't confuse monitor limitations with print quality. All Coray Photo images have been balanced for optimum print output.

2. Images can be found by clicking on the "View & Order Prints" button, then selecting the general category of event, then finding your event in the list. For large events, I often break up the collection into several separate "galleries", with images appearing roughly chronologically.

3. The thumbnail views are handy because they show up to 36 images on one page. However, they don't always show enough detail to help you decide if you are interested. You can also click on a thumbnail image to view a larger version. The best way to examine all of the images would be to zoom into the larger version of the first image, then use the "forward" key to step through each image (skipping the thumbnail views). However, you should go back to the thumbnail view when you are ready to select images for your order. When you have all your images selected from all of the galleries, you can add them to your "shopping cart". From there, follow the on-screen instructions.

4. You may not be able to order some images in the largest size print. This happens only where I have had to crop an image from its original in order to improve its presentation.

5. Whether you are ordering for an album, scrapbook or to put in a matt or frame, the content and design of an image can often suggest the size it should be printed. Close-ups or mid-distance shots can usually be printed small without any loss of impact. However, others like large groups and full-length formal portraits need to be printed larger, so their detail can be seen and enjoyed. Printed too small, the subject(s) in these photos may get lost. I have composed and shot some images with the idea that they would be printed larger. With those images, there is usually more background around the main subject(s).

6. IMPORTANT: Not all enlargement sizes have the same proportions. Print sizes that match the original image perfectly are the common 4x6 and less common 8x12. All others, like 3.5x5, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20, will all result in some cropping of imformation from the long ends. This matters if you are ordering an image that doesn't have any extra space on the ends - you don't want to crop off any "good stuff", like family members, bridal gown trails, tops of heads, etc. The good news is that the on-screen ordering process will alert you to any cropping that is going to occur and give you some choices about how to handle it. Follow the instructions and you should be fine. At worst, you may need to stick to a size that doesn't crop the image. Please call me if you'd like more explanation of cropping issues.

7. My printer, Printroom.com, also offers photo products like greeting cards, calendars, etc. that come imprinted with any of the images from the event. To order those, just select the image(s) and follow the on-screen instructions for additional products.

8. If you are uncomfortable with using your credit card for e-commerce, you can indicate you'd like to pay by check. Once Printroom receives your check, your order will then be processed. Or you can phone in an order (be sure to have the file numbers and sizes you want). If you have ordering or printing problems/questions, call my printer, Printroom.com, toll-free at 888-868-4157. I'd also be happy to answer your questions.
